Residential and Social Housing

We have extensive architectural experience in creating contemporary residential and social housing developments with style and sensitivity for the environment.

Colliery Road, Wrexham

View from the central gazebo at Colliery Raod WrexhamAlthough constructed some time ago, the Colliery Road development remains as fresh today as it was when it was constructed. The scheme comprises a 32 unit sheltered housing scheme developed around a courtyard complete with community centre, warden's house, central gazebo, and landscaped walkways around the development.

Following its construction the scheme was awarded a RIBA National Award.

We are especially proud of this scheme, which has now matured into a pleasant and secure place for its elderly occupants to live.

Housing development in Longner Street, ShrewsburyLongner Street, Shrewsbury

A town site development within Shrewsbury town centre, consisting of a two storey block of four apartments and a three storey block of six apartments, making a total of ten residential units with on-site car parking to the undercroft.

This was a challenging site to overcome restricted site constraints. It is also situated within a flood risk area, which required special attention.

Berry Street Conwy, overlooking the Conwy EstuaryBerry Street, Conwy

Private Client

A residential development of nine luxury town houses situated within Conwy Castle historic walls having a combination of two and three storey apartment blocks with undercroft parking access from a central courtyard area.

With the castle walls obscuring views to the lower floors, it allowed a bespoke design to locate the lounges / living areas on the top floor. This enabled splendid picturesque views over the Conwy estuary.

By liaising closely with CADW to ensure compliance with all requirements, we have managed to incorporate a terraced design in such a way that the development blends seamlesly into the townscape.
